CUPCAKE PURSE
I finished this today. I had started it, just because I wanted to try the pattern, but then a cupcake swap came along on Swap-Bot, so I joined, and this is probably what I will send my partner. It's a mid-sized purse - not too small and not too large. I like it.

This is adorable! I saw somewhere a cupcake hat too, have you seen that pattern? Maybe I saw it here?
Thanks mrs.g and nan. Hmmm... A cupcake hat... I just googled 'cupcake hat crochet pattern' and got a whole lot of perfect ones for Blythe dolls. There were also some great ones for people, only those were knitted. I think I saw an actual cupcake hat crocheted for a baby though... But I think you could rework this purse to be a hat - leaving off the bottom circle, just starting from a few rows of single crochet. Also reworking the top to eliminate the opening. The pattern for the purse came somewhere online, but I can't remember where. It should google up though. Good luck! And if you make one, I'd love to see it.
