BABY CHICKS!

"Peep, peep, peep..." "What's that in the box?! Chicken nugget delivery???"
Our delivery of 15 chicks that Stewart ordered arrived today - 5 Ameraucanas, 5 Silver Laced Wyandottes and 5 Black Australorps. But one is a yellow chick, so it must have been put in the box by mistake, instead of one of the other ones he ordered. Or else it is a rooster instead of all hens like he ordered. I guess time will tell.
Here they are in their temporary home.
A closer, blurrier look... I hope we can keep them all healthy and they'll grow into good layers.

I like those little black ones. We've only had ours for a week now and it's amazing how fast they grow. They are already taking short flights and getting into cute little mock fights. Your little yellow chick may actually be an Ameraucana too since they supposedly come in different colors (we got one in our mix as well).
