CHUCK'S GARDEN

Chuck picked the first of the corn yesterday, and got more today. Today he dug potatoes too. For dinner, he barbecued a small roast, boiled some of the ears of corn, and cooked fresh store-bought green beans with the new potatoes and some onions. It was really, really delicious!
We let Coconut through the gate into the garden with us, and Carly just crawled through the fence. Patti-Jo and Carl laid down under the nearby oak tree to wait, and Buddie just stayed stretched out on the porch.
